The E&D Story continues
E&D ANHACC
We created Afro Nordic Hair Arts, and Culture Celebration, to explore and pay homage to the foundation of the ever evolving artistry that is afro textured hair. The freedom that is embedded in the black joy experience. And the tremendous beauty of community, vivid arts and innovation that's in the dna of black people and African culture regardless of where we are based.
Edges and Drinks
Edges and Drinks (E&D) started as a celebration of the rough but yet so empowering self-discovery journey of a black woman in a nordic narrative back in 2022. With two successful celebrations with over 400 joined participants, she soon understood how these encounters and shared testimonies were bigger than her individual story. Founder Miriam Nabunya, witnessed the heartwarming and community changing force that E&D was.
With her personal notion of it's life changing potential, she took a leap of faith and stepped it up in 2024.

Today E&D runs and hosts multiple projects with the same initial mission; to unapologetically connect, equip and celebrate black and brown women and black non-binaries in the nordics. Together with her unwavering team of change agents, they utilise pillars of black joy experiences, such as community, food, vivid arts and mutual advancement.

Edges and Drinks' vision is to become the premier community platform and safe haven for black and brown women and black people in the global north. We've, sofar in 2024, started projects such as
- Equipping The Woman of Tomorrow
- What's Good sis
- Edges and Connections
- Sisterhood Activation
- and now, E&D ANHACC
all in the ambition of serving the black woman and black people with different needs in the various stages of this thing we call life.
